Council Meetings
A local council must hold an annual meeting in every year. In an ordinary election year, the annual meeting must take place on, or within fourteen days after, the day on which the councillors elected at that election take office. In other years, it may be held on any day in May.
A parish council must hold at least three other (also known as ordinary) meetings during the year and may hold as many as it thinks fit.
Pentewan Valley Parish Council meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of each month.
